In fact not only had he made the bands video but also collaborated with them to create their album cover and a superb series of stills. His take on directing is very refreshing, possibly since his background was with still photography so he comes up to the moving image plate without the baggage, rules and preconceptions that can be instilled by more traditional teaching and learning. His interview is a very honest reflection of his character as well as his great work.
