Though the New York real estate market forces it to shut down and change its historical location. Closing Time documents the last month of business of the store, run by the Rossi family. It is a portrait of a family, of the neighborhood that used to be and of the way the city changes in a blink of an eye. Nowadays the tiny store just looks like a normal and touristy gift shop, maybe a little bit messier than the others, but behind the surface, the store contains small treasures belonging to a part of Little Italy that does not exist anymore, not even in Italy.
Closing Time appears in full on the Dvd in this issue.
